The algorithm specially developed for the playback of stereo music on headphones is now available as a stand-alone program or plug-in for PC and Mac.
ATTENTION: only suitable for 64 bit systems.
With an array of 9 very short delays, a universal HRTF (Head Related Transfer Function) is generated, which creates a frontal sound image that can be perceived slightly outside the head, comparable to the arrangement of loudspeakers in a stereo triangle.
This not only improves the localisation of the individual sound sources, but also restores depth to the spatiality of the original recording and merges extreme left-right recordings into one sonic unit.
No additional room simulations are used.
You can now spend hours working or just enjoying music on headphones 😊
With the time-limited demo version, you can extensively test the advantages of headphone playback with amoenus externus.
If you listen to music via headphones on your computer with a music or streaming app, this program is just the right thing.
With the help of VB-Cable (supplied as donations software), you can loop amoenus externus into the audio output of the computer and feed the processed signal to the headphones.
Please read the operating instructions carefully.
If you often work with headphones in your DAW (Digital Audio Workstation), the amoenus externus plugin can make your life much easier.
Not only does the plugin allow you to work without getting tired, you can also mix on headphones for longer, as the arrangement of the sound sources in a stereo triangle means that the sound image and localisation largely corresponds to that of the monitors.
The plug-in is also very well suited for use in headphone monitoring, as the out-of-head localisation enables a more relaxed and therefore often better performance.
